Getting your site ranked well on Google
  

Each and every time I tell people what I do for a living, I hear this question, "how do you get your site to #1 on the search engines?" Without claiming to know or understand the search engines and their algorithms, I can tell you the things that I think are important to getting your site ranked. If you will take the time to do it right, you will have success on the SE's (Search Engines) Here are the steps: (simplified)

1. Research your keyword phrases to define your marketing strategy.
2. Purchase your domain based on the most popular keyword phrase.
3. Optimize your web pages, minding Google's rules, for each of the researched keyword phrases.
4. Build links to each of your keyword optimized phrases through your blog network.
5. Build other high-quality, niche focused incoming links.
6. Check results and refine
